We will be awarding two $1,000 scholarships to area high school seniors who have a goal of attending college for the 2011-2012 school year. “My goal in providing these scholarship monies to students, who have financial needs, is to help them visualize and achieve their life goals.” Those who may not receive scholarships based on skills or academics, but who show a strong desire to succeed are highly encouraged to apply.
Interested seniors need to write an essay explaining why they want to attend college and why they need financial aid.
The deadline for entries is May 1st, 2011
